Petit Verdot as a variety tends to have big tannins and high acid, which creates a big, powerful wine. Taming those acids and tannins has resulted in a gorgeously balanced wine. Notes of blueberry pie mixed with toasty aromas of oak greet you on the nose. In the mouth, the concentrated fruit is round and full with a soft lingering finish. This powerhouse of a wine can be enjoyed now, or safely cellared for years to come. The grapes come from Milt’s Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills.
